RED DOG training is excited to be offering group classes in Poulsbo, WA. Group classes are structured around the AKC Good Citizen Program and testing is available. These classes are best suited for dogs who are able to remain neutral around other dogs with 5-10 feet of space. If your dog is currently struggling with reactivity, please reach out about one on one coaching first.
AKC CGC “Canine Good Citizen” class
The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society. This class will cover loose lead walking skills, greeting strangers, neutrality to other dogs, recalls, grooming, supervised separation, and engagement with distractions. This class has a max of 5 handlers so that each team gets plenty of personal attention and support. All new students will receive a free online resource to help support you and your dog on your training journey!

The weather is changing and it’s time to get out with your pups! Breweries, coffee shops, bistros, and summer concerts are calling! Let’s teach them the ever so valuable skill of just being bored. Yes, You heard me right...BORED! No, your dog is not defective or incapable, they just haven’t learned the skill yet. In this class we will talk about ways to set your dog up for sucess, how to build this valuable skill, and how to get out and enjoy life to it’s fullest. This class is open to dogs of all ages and skill sets. All dogs participating must be able to be neutral to other dogs with 5-10 feet of space. This class starts 5/6 and runs for 6 weeks from 7:15-8pm.
